TOUR SALISBURY AND SEE THE MAGNA CARTA
Our tour then moves on to probablythe finest medieval cathedral in Great Britain. The spire of Salisbury Cathedral - the tallest in England at 123m (404ft) - soars up to the heavens, and marked a revolution in cathedral architecture when it was built over 800 years ago. In the Chapter House, you will see the historic document the Magna Carta, the famous agreement made between King John and his barons at Runnymede in 1215 AD.

TOUR CITY OF BATH
Standing on the slopes of the River Avon, thE beautiful Georgian city of Bath was the first city in England to be designated as a World Heritage Site. On our panoramic tour around the city you will see Bath Abbey, where the first English King was crowned in 973AD, the famous Pulteney Bridge modelled on the Florentine Ponte Vecchio and the magnificent architecture of the Royal Crescent.
TOUR THE ROMAN BATHS
We then visit the Roman Baths that made the city famous. The best preserved Roman Spa from the ancient empire, but then tantalizingly hidden from view until the 1870's. Here we will also witness the torch lighting ceremony when the torches around the Great Roman Bath are lit at dusk (not applicable in Summer) and exclusively for Golden Tours clients there is an opportunity to drink a glass of spa water straight from the Pump Rooms.
