WINDSOR AND RUNNYMEDE- The day begins in the charming medieval town of Windsor
located just west of London. Your professional guide will walk you through the picturesque cobbled streets up to the magnificent Castle which is perched on a large chalk buff, high above the River Thames. From William the Conqueror all the way through to the current monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, successive monarchs have lived here and left their mark on what is now the largest occupied castle in the world. BATH - The city of Bath is another world heritage site, and is a beautiful Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces and architecture. Following our guided tour of the city, there will be plenty of time to visit Bath Abbey and the famous Pulteney Bridge overlooking the beautiful river Avon cascading over the weir. And you can shop, explore and take afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to the string quartet.
