  • 19 May 2015
Producers of Jonathan Harvey's play Beautiful Thing have announced that both it's West End run at the Arts Theatre and it's UK tour have unfortunately been cancelled.

Beautiful Thing was scheduled to showcase for a limited 6 week season at the Arts Theatre from 3rd June to 11th July, however the production will now close and cease touring on Saturday at the Leicester Curve after cancelling all its future dates which were scheduled for the Theatre Royal, Brighton, New Theatre, Cardiff and the Arts Theatre, London.

Speaking of the decision to axe the tour executive producer Tom O'Connell said: "It is with great regret that we have made the difficult decision to close Beautiful Thing early, but we are all immensely proud to have produced the show, led by a fantastic company and cast".

The production starred Charlie Brooks as Sandra, Thomas Law as Ste, Sam Jackson as Jamie, Gerard McCarthy as Tony, Vanessa Babirye as Leah and Rob Ellis and Natalie Law and was directed by Nikolai Foster
