Stratford-upon-Avon is a delightful market town at the edge of the Forest of Arden and was the birthplace of the world's best-known playwrite, William Shakespeare. On the banks of the River Avon, bursting with tales of treachery and torture, passion and power and above all fascinating people, times and events, Warwick Castle is so much more than simply a castle.
