YORK DAY TRIP- Premium Tours

Highlights:

The York Day Trip includes everything you could possibly need to fully appreciate your time in this historically rich city to the full.

The day begins at Kings Cross train Station at 6-30am where you will be greeted by a Premium Tours representative before departing for York at 7am.

During this time you will be given a day pack which includes return train tickets, a city map, and tickets for a city sightseeing tour, a scenic river cruise and also for the Yorvik Viking centre. In addition to this you will also receive a set of informative travel notes which you can read through on your journey.

BEATLES & LIVERPOOL DAY TRIP- Golden Tours

The Beatles and Liverpool Tour offers a fabulous insight into the life and times of the most famous pop group in the world.

Following your arrival by train at Liverpool Lime Street Station, you will be given the opportunity to explore this wonderful city at your own leisure before departing on the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour at 2-30pm.

This informative guided tour takes place on an authentic vintage coach which is identical to the one used in the classic 1967 film of the same name which starred John, Paul, George and Ringo themselves.

The tour lasts for approximately two hours and visits around thirty different locations which all played a significant part in the story of the Beatles ranging from their early years up until the start of their solo careers, before finishing at the famous Cavern Club where the boys used to perform regularly.

All entrance fees are included within the cost of your ticket and there is the additional option available of travelling first class or standard class on the train journey itself.

DAY TRIP TO THE LAKE DISTRICT- Golden Tours

Departing from Euston in the early morning and arriving at Oxenholme just before 10am, you will first be taken to Windermere following a short introduction from your tour guide for the day.

After stretching your legs and breathing in the fresh air for a short while you will then be driven to Grasmere where you will be given a tour of Dove Cottage which belonged to William Wordsworth before visiting the Wordsworth family graves and the traditional Gingerbread shop.
