Apollo Reopens with Extra Bite

  • 26 Feb 2014
Let the Right One In to reopen Apollo Theatre in March..........

Following the collapse of part of the ceiling at the Apollo Theatre back in the December during a performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which injured seventy six people, it has been announced that the venue will be back open for business next month.

The first offering will be a bloody one as Let the Right One In transfers there from The Royal Court. Adapted from the Swedish novel and hit movie, it is the dark tale of Oskar - a lonely, bullied teenager in a bleak housing estate. When Eli moves into the neighbourhood he thinks he has at last found a true friend; albeit a strange friend who never goes to school and never leaves her flat during daylight hours.

Following a number of brutal murders in the area, Oskar discovers the horrifying truth about his new friend and must decide just how loyal he really is to her.

Let the Right One In opens March 26th and comes with a warning: it is only recommended to “fearless” adults and young people over the age of 13 as it contains some fairly graphic scenes of gore. Do you have the stomach for it?
