Is That a Jackson Pollock?

Kathleen Turner to make a welcome return to the West End in Bakersfield Mist...

Kathleen Turner (Romancing The Stone, Peggy Sue Got Married), a familiar face in movies, theatre and rare appearances on television, last graced a London stage in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? But she’s back and starring in a new production called Bakersfield Mist opposite everyone’s favourite evil emperor Ian McDiarmid (Star Wars).

Bakersfield Mist is based on a true story of a woman living in a trailer park who buys a painting in a junk shop. Despite only paying a few dollars for it she becomes convinced what she actually owns is an original Jackson Pollock that’s worth millions. McDiarmid is the world famous art expert who flies in from New York to verify, or disprove, the find.

You can find out if it really is the find of the century at the Duchess theatre from the 10th May.
