London Dungeon

BmyConcierge.com review of the London Dungeon prior to the summer season 2010
In my capacity as a professional concierge I have been to the London Dungeon many times over the years and have always found it to be a pretty entertaining attraction and a fun way to spend a couple of hours.  I was recently invited back to the London Dungeon for the attraction operators Merlin to showcase the venue to the industry prior to the summer season.  I have to say that since the opening in the next street of the London Bridge Experience a couple of years ago it would seem that competition between the two venues is rife as the London Dungeon have introduced several brand new features most recently the 'Bloody Mary Killer Queen' section where some poor unexpecting tourist inevitably gets burnt at the stake!  They have retained quite a few features such as 'Sweeney Todd' and 'Jack The Ripper' but have also added on another execution section where the customer now gets decapitated- charming!  The focus is also much more on interaction with the actors in the Dungeon now making it more fun which is always going to be a good thing and kids will love that.  My verdict on the London Dungeon for summer 2010 as a whole is that it remains to be one of London's premier attraction venues and if you take advantage of the online discount from BmyConcierge it is pretty competetive pricewise at £20 per adult with the rest of the capitals tourist hotspots.
